Thermocoagulation with the LG2 Lesion Generator

LG2 Lesion Generator: State-of-the-art generator for pain treatment and functional neurosurgery

The two-channel RF lesion generator provides the ability to connect a variety of instruments for different application modes:

  • Matching inomed TC Pain electrodes and cannulas >> complement the product portfolio in the field of pain treatment
  • TC Brain electrodes in the field of functional neurosurgery

Highest safety, precision and comfort for efficient pain treatments

The RF Lesion generator can be used in many different modes and with different instruments: for common pain application and brain lesion in temperature and power-controlled mode.

The LG2 has two separate RF channels which can be independently operated. In addition, the LG2 offers the possibility to combine two monopolar electrodes for bipolar application.

The system provides a real-time graphical output line, temperature, and impedance display during thermocoagulation. The audio impedance provides real-time audio feedback of impedance change during a brain lesion.

Intuitive operation in various applications

The LG2 is certified for pain treatment and brain applications.

Maximum user-friendliness

The intuitive handling of the generator enables users to apply it quickly, safely and independently in the OR.

Audio impedance

The audio impedance enables the user to detect strong impedance changes. The current value of the tissue impedance is provided as a sound at a certain height to the user.

Different electrode configurations

  • Monopolar 1 channel or 2 channel
  • Monopolar 2 channel as bipolar
  • Bipolar 1 channel

Neutral Electrode Contact Quality Monitoring (NEM)

The NEM function of the RF Lesion Generator graphically displays the contact status of the neutral surface electrode to the user.
