inomed as well as 17 partners from industry, science and hospitals are starting an unique basic research project on the therapeutic use of interactive micro-implants called the INTAKT innovation cluster. The focus of this research project is on the application areas of tinnitus treatment, the restoration of the grasping function and the treatment of gastrointestinal motility disorders.
The 5-year project is being initiated and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
The goal of the INTAKT research project is to develop a completely new generation of actively cross-linked micro-implants. They are intended to deliver future-oriented approaches for improved interaction between humans and technology.
